Permissions Post || Entranceway
I know it may seem strange to create a permissions post for a character without any supernatural abilities, but the truth of the matter is that this is much more a request than permissions post proper. Bringing Sherlock to games isn't always easy, mostly due to one major problem: I am not Sherlock Holmes.
More to the point, to write him I require a degree of knowledge about what your character is doing and thinking that I simply don't have unless you tell me. Furthermore, while Sherlock doesn't much care about stepping on toes, I do — I don't want to reveal anything about your character you'd rather not be known.
To that end I have another limitation: I simply can't consume all the media from which your characters are drawn to the same depth that you must to play them. Even if I could, there's a fair chance I wouldn't care to, which I don't think is a failing on my part.
In any case, those concerns taken into account, here are my requests:
1. If there is anything you would rather Sherlock not be able to see or not reveal about your character, please let me know. Comment here, contact me some other way, whatever you like. If there's anything that might prevent him from reading them or deducing things about them, please also tell me that.
2. I appreciate links to wikis or apps, but for general history I don't mind doing my own research. I won't ask you to fill out anything in this regard unless you'd like to. However, I do request that when we're threading together, you give me some prompting, either ic in prose/flavourtext or ooc via any method whether or not Sherlock might be able to read what your character is feeling, where they've been, etc. I hope this isn't too much to ask. It doesn't have to be elaborate, either; you don't have to hold my hand. I've been playing Sherlock in games for a long time; I can handle most of what you might throw at me, one way or another. I just don't want to assume things that end up being untrue or irritating to you. This is only intended to help things run more smoothly.
Thank you for taking the time to read. Don't worry if you don't have anything to respond or you don't know how to accommodate my requests; it's not a major issue and I won't be upset. I look forward to playing with all of you regardless.

This is Inky, playing Castiel (Supernatural) and Ruby (Once Upon A Time) in Eway, reporting for permissions duty!
Castiel: App | Permissions
Sherlock can probably easily derive that the body belongs to an accountant - however, now the body belongs to an angel, who is decidedly not human. His mannerisms and body language aren't human, because Castiel isn't human, so that might make Sherlock's usual tricks a bit difficult here. Which in turn will make their interactions fun! It'll be interesting to see what Sherlock might derive from a wavelength of celestial intent inhabitating the body of a catholic accountant. Castiel usually holds himself stiff, blinks very little, stares too much (he can look into your soul, they have something in common ;) ). I guess he would at the same time appear to be a warrior/soldier and an accountant who has never seen a day of hard work in his life? I'm sure we can work the details out.
Ruby: App | Permissions
With Ruby, things are very straightforward. I included much about her personality that Sherlock could derive in the background section. She is a very caring person, friendly, full of smiles, but he can probably see her rebellious streak as well as the fact that she is filled with more self-loathing than she lets on, heaps of guilt and unfulfilled dreams. But yeah, all that is in detail in the app, if you have additional questions feel free to poke me.
Generally, I will try to provide lots to go on in my tags either way, and if you ever feel like they're lacking in things you can work with, feel free to poke me!

Sherlock is allowed to see and reveal as much as he can about Philip, but these days there are few things about him that still hint at his history/condition. Here is a canon link in any case and here is a link to his current abilities, even though I currently don't think they'd come into play in any way.
Their history in a very small nutshell was this:
- Sherlock used several evasive means to investigate a very private and personal matter of Philip's. They didn't part on the worst of terms, but there was certainly no love lost between them.
Their history in a slightly larger nutshell:
- Sherlock was very good friends (or Sherlockian equivalent thereof) with Philip's girlfriend (Evelyn Carnahan from The Mummy)
- Out of boredom Sherlock once analysed DNA samples from all/most Wonderland residents. Both Philip and Evie acted evasive about Philip's sample, given that Philip is not entirely human. Sherlock took this as a cue to steal a sample from him during an event.
- (Here is an information post on that, though since his last update most of these issues no longer apply.)
- Sherlock confronted Evelyn, who refused to reveal more and told Sherlock not to investigate. Taking the hint about as well as you'd think Sherlock used his knowledge of Polyjuice Potion obtained during a Harry Potter event to transform himself into Evelyn
- In the disguise of Evelyn he confronted Philip and found out more about Philip's condition - his virus - and obtained more samples which allowed him to isolate the virus from his blood.
- (While Sherlock was in that disguise Philip was also responsible for Sherlock's first kiss in Wonderland, which really doesn't pertain to anything, but made me laugh when I remembered it just now)
- Evelyn eventually convinced Sherlock to hand any samples and research he'd collected on the virus over to her and stop investigating, which he finally did.
- (Although that may have had something to do with the slight twinge of guilt he felt for getting Evelyn killed by Moriarty.)
- (Which also did very little to endear Philip to him.)
Philip has since been cured ("cured", really) of the virus and doesn't hold such an emotionally loaded view of Sherlock's research and investigation anymore, so he may very well be considerably less hostile than he used to be, but there is a past between them (which would likely be obvious during an encounter) and he will not share specifics unless suitably prompted.
I hope that helped any, let me know if there is anything else you need.
Lord Buckingham ||
Here is the plot of the movie and here is the historical duke I occasionally use to pad his background, though those two are by no means identical. Sherlock is permitted to deduce and declare anything of interest he can find, I'll try to adorn my tags accordingly, let me know if you ever have any further questions.

You're welcome to have Sherlock deduce as you please. Here's Blake's app for some reference. The stuff that's not mentioned is mostly post-canon stuff, which includes his appointment to the Chairman position of the Martha Wayne Foundation, and his subsequent training in several forms of martial arts, plus his secret mantle.
If you have any questions or need more direction, please don't hesitate to send me a message. o/

In all respects Vinnie is very much a typical American college student. He does however have bags and bags of trauma coming from the Slender Man and the Rake, which probably manifest similarly as someone who has been victimized by stalking.
He also has a slowly growing phobia of the mansion, which he refers to as the house. This is partly because of the connection his series has to the very trippy book House of Leaves. As he stays in Wonderland he will come to see the mansion as sentient and malicious.
Sherlock has permission to use any of this information as the situation requires. (It'll do Vincent some good to get shaken up too!)
thanks for the cool post!

Sherlock is welcome to deduce pretty much anything about Jack that you'd like and I'll definitely try to sprinkle relevant details around in posts.
Things he might notice include:
-Jack has some memory issues. He may not immediately understand something (unfamiliar object, word, social situation) and he won't generally verbally let on about it, but I figure there'd be a tell, maybe a particular quality of blank look or something.
-He's a trained and efficient killer. Another thing he doesn't like to talk about, but I figure Sherlock would probably be able to tell in the way he moved, or how he responded (even subtly) to sudden movements or loud sounds. That said, he's not particularly menacing, and he doesn't seem to be faking that, so that might be kind of...incongruous.
-Use of injectable drugs--intramuscular rather than intravenous, so definitely not heroin or other typical street drugs. He's not cagey about the superpowers said drugs allow him to use, but he has not as yet been open about shooting up with giant hypodermics to do so. Some scarring on his left arm from that. Probably some scarring from the superpowers themselves, too, so it's safe to say the whole left arm/hand area is a mess.
-He carries a pipe wrench around. Spoilers: it's not for plumbing. Further spoilers: it's for bashing people's heads in if need be.
-He's kind of freaked out by science, but also curious. The anxiety could be noticeable.
On the more obvious end:
-he wears a mask 90% of the time, usually a half-mask, usually some kind of stylized animal. Why? He's not saying. It's pretty clear that he's hiding something, but there's nothing wrong with his face--could it maybe be related to that whole lab-grown assassin thing?
-Chain tattoos on the insides of his wrists. I constantly forget to mention these, but they're sort of super important.
-He's quiet. He gets extra-quiet when he's stressed. This is not subtle at all, I'm not sure why I'm event mentioning it.
Ok, so not being sherlock holmes either, I'm clearly not that great at figuring out what good details for a sherlock to notice would be. I hope this wasn't completely unhelpful.
ETA: oH YEAH also there's the mind control thing, KIND OF a big deal, i'm not sure what it would take for sherlock to jump to "brainwashing" as a conclusion, but that's a thing that could happen.
